 extract the user's current screen resoulution

Does anyone know how to extract the user's current screen resoulution.  As
the form loads I would like to record the users screen resolution from an
ini or some API call and then store it in a table.
ie. are they using 800x600 or 640x480
Thanks Team

 extract the user's current screen resoulution

Hi!

That one is easy: Use the Screen Objekt. (See also HELP on)

UserScreenWidth = Screen.Width
UserScreenHeight = Screen.Width

The Ansers are in "Twpis". To get to Pixel you may use
the TwipsPerPixel Propertys like this:

UserScreenWidth = Screen.Width / Screen.TwipsPerPixelX
UserScreenHeight = Screen.Width / Screen.TwipsPerPixelY

Now you have something like 800x600

Example:

To fit your small form in the center of an unknown screeen:

Left = (Screen.Width - Width) / 2
Topt = (Screen.Height - Height) / 2
