SQL Server 2000 with Windows XP?

do any of you tried installing Microsoft SQL Server 2000 (standard
edition with 5 clients) on a windows XP computer?

At the start of the installation, the program says that the program cannot
be install onto this computer because of the operationsystem (wich is
Windows XP). I can only install an instance of a database, wich I don't want
to because it is not even created.

I tried the sp2 patch from microsoft.com, but still doesn't work... anyone
can help me???

SQL server standard only runs on Windows NT or 2000 server not on
workstation. You can install SQL Server developer and MSDE on Windows NT,
2000 and XP workstation.

I hope this helps.
