Uniqueidentifier in SQL7 Stored Procedure = "Syntax error or Access Violation"

Any help you can give would be appreciated!

Using VB6 / ADO / SQL7
With the following Stored Procedure:

CREATE PROCEDURE [sp_Search_tblUser_guidBillingID]

 AS
Select *
From tblUser

When I get to (in VB):
 Set RS = cn.Execute("myStoredProcedureName" & varSearchVariant)

I get:
"Syntax error or Access Violation"

Any Ideas?

Thanks for your help!
