 Connect 16-bit VB app to 32-bit Access 97 DB

I have an older 16-bit VB app created in VB4-16 which connected to an
Access 2.0 database.  The database was recently converted to Access 97
which is 32-bit.   Is there a way to connect the old 16-bit app to the
Access 97 database without upgrading the entire app to 32-bit?
