Office 97 Breaks Visual Basic 4.0

While not working with VB, I have had to remove ODBC version 3 from a
WIN95 platform. I had to delete all ODBC files (ODBC*.*) from the system
directory, and then go into the registry and manually remove all the ODBC
info.
After rebooting, I was then able to re-install the older ODBC. The
system's
still running, and we haven't had any problems, so I don't think that I
broke
anything else in the process.
