I have built an application that uses the Jet 3.51 provider with ADO
for data access. Several forms in this project contain a grid bound to
an ADO data control(for display purposes only) and there are no
problems. However, if I use the Jet 4.0 provider, despite the fact that
all my ADODB stuff continues to work without any problems my ADO data
control suddenly starts returning an "Unknown error" when the refresh
command is issued against it.
I am using MS ADO Data Control 6.0 (SP3)(OLEDB). Does anyone know of a
newer service pack/version or of an alternate way to address the ADO
data control's relationship with the Jet 4.0 provider?
