Converting from Access 7.0 to Access97

If I go through the conversion process in Access97, will this compromise
the functionality of my VB 4.0 apps?

Will I need to add new references to my project, recompile and redistribute
the apps or will the transition be seamless (ha ha).  Or will this work at
all?

It depends. If you start using the DAO 3.5 (change your reference in
VB 4.0) library in VB 4.0 then I would expect some problems.

But if you are just converting the database then there shouldn't be
any problems of which I am aware. Access 95 and 97 have essentially
the same format.

However, I would recommend making a backup and testing out the
combination first just to be safe.
