Data Types using the Data Object

Hello,

There's probably an easy answer to this, but it's so far eluded this newbie.

Specifically, how to handle mixed data types using the VB data object.  I'm
accessing Excel spreadsheets as the data repository and, when the data type
within a field (column) is consistent, no problem.  But when the field is
primarily populated with numeric data, text data doesn't load into the data
bound text box for that field.  The other (text) fields of the record are
displayed, but the text box for the primarily numeric data populated field
shows a blank when the data is text.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Regards,

Tom Glassen
