 Deleting records in dBase IV

    How can I phisicaly delete records from .dbf file.
    When I delete records, they are only marked as
    deleted, but they are still present in dbf file.

    Please help,

Hi Danko,

This is the case with all xBase tables (dBase, Clipper, FoxPro).  A delete
only marks the record as deleted.  The record can later be undeleted using a
Recall command.

The only way to physically remove records marked from deletion from within a
.DBF table is to issue a 'Pack' on the table.
