My brain has sprung a leak!?!?!?!

My brain has sprung a leak!?!?!?!

Brain Drain is what happens when a usually astute programmer can't figure
out where the power button on his computer is, it's gotta be!

Anyways,  I am having trouble locating information on copying a table to a
new table, and also renaming a table using VB Code

i.e.  my app does a end-of-month "roll-up" as we have called it.  After the
reports are printed, the "prevmonth" table needs to be renamed to an actual
name (i.e. Apr97).  The "curmonth" table needs to be copied to "prevmonth".
Now I know that I use a simple "cut & paste" within access, but I need to
do this with code, and fairly quick if possible.

Oh, BTW, using DAO or VB3 syntax, either will work for me at this juncture

Please respond via email to me if at all possible.

thanx in advance for any and all help
