I have a Crystal Report(composed using 8.5) that uses a graph/chart. It
works fine on all machines that have crystal 8.5 installed but comes up with
an error 'Server has not yet been opened' on machines that don't have
crystal. Has anybody encountered this before and if so do you know the dlls
needed to run such reports. I have tried to use 'Depends' but to no avail.

This is one of those questions that have been done to death on this NG. Have
you included Crystal runtime DLLs when distributing your applications?

Have a look in the hlp file Runtime.hlp in:
C:\..\Seagate Software\Crystal Reports\Developer Files\Help\

This should explain all the files you need to distribute for what you
are trying to achieve. I haven't ever had to use graphs/charts so im
not familiar with the files required.

Hope this helps
Dunc.

Hi.

This error has something to do with database connectivity.
'Crystal' installs everything (well, enough stuff) around
databases, that is why all is OK there. Machines without
Crystal installed have no ODBC etc. stuff defined.

Check this, it might help.
