 Is there any report designer better than crystal report

No. There is nothing even in the ball game. All of the other products have
either died or are falling further behind. (Forest and Trees, ReportSmith,
etc.)

Some databases have their own report writers (Excel, FoxPro, and Access) but
they are limited to their own flavor of data. Access probably comes the
closest.

Excuse me, but until you have tried all of the reports COMMERCIALLY
available stop making comments which you can't back up. Otherwise one may
assume you either work for Seagate or, or prospering from Crystal Report
users somehow!!!

Paul ... this is a fine statement, HOWEVER ... you do not attempt to mention
any answer to the original question ... I personally do not know Tom or even
which part of the world either of you are from, BUT having read many of
Tom's answers to various questions posted in this newsgroup, I for one
respect his knowledge and appreciate his pretty sound advice no matter who
he works for.......
