Oracle Date fields via ODBC in Crystal Reports

Hi, you wise CrystalReports-gurus!

Please help me with the following problem:
I must print a Oracle Date-field in a Crystal Reports report with the
precision of seconds. The data is extracted via ODBC (Oracle 7.3 driver
version 2.5). To have access to the time of the day in a Date-field the
Option 'automatic conversion from DateTime to Date' was unchecked. The
problem is, that I always get a simple text field for the Date-field from
Crytal Reports with no format options according to the DateTime character.
But the precision of this field is up to 1/100 seconds.

Does anyone know how to avoid this conversion in a simple text field, so the
normal DateTime format options can be aplied?

Thanx for any help, Carsten
