Redistributing Crystal 8.5 to Windows 98 (first edition)

Jason G #1 / 4	Redistributing Crystal 8.5 to Windows 98 (first edition) My issue is regarding distruibuting Crystal 8.5 to Windows 98 (first edition). The scenario we have now is that installation completes unhindered but the following messages appear when a user try's to view a report in the Crystal Viewer: 1. Crystal Reports: Database Error; Can not initialize OLE 2. Crystal Reports: Database Error; Can not create DAO DBEngine 3. Crystal Reports: Database Error; Error opening file. File could not be opened "L0_Data", at file location "L0_Data" 4. Crystal Report Viewer: Error detected by database DLL As a note, when a full installation of Crystal 8.5 Developer / Access 2000 is installed the report and Crystal Viewer open without a problem. This led me to believe that further dependency files were missing, however after adding numerous files and merge modules to the installation package I was unable to rectify the problem. The installation package works fine with Windows 2000. My installation package contains the following files: p2bdao.dll p2irdao.dll p2ctdao.dll dao350.dll. If you any ideas of how to solve these problems it would be very appreciated. Regards Jason

The error message directly point that there is a problem with Data access layer, ie.
