Get report information to Crystal Reports

This is for Web Reports, but I didn't see another forum on Crystal
Reports. If there is one for the Web, please let me know.

Bare with me, because I'm new at Crystal Reports!

I'm making a report for the web. I have made a report using Crystal
Reports 8.0. Everything is working like I want in the Report Designer
and it looks fine. I need to pass values to it from an SQL Query with
the "table" changing on each report. I can figure all of that out.

I'm having trouble trying to figure out how to initialize the report
and pass the information from the recordset to the report.

I've read the whole book that comes with the software. It doesn't even
mention how to initialize the report, just how to make it. I live in a
small town and the bookstore don't have "Crystal Reports for Dummies"
or anything else related to Crystal Reports.

Can someone help me out??
