no but i would believe that you can have some control on the form which
displays reports, and then reset the grouping criteria in the report , which
will change the display order

You cna have a main report that contains two identical subreports (on sorted
ascending, the other descending), then suppress the one you don't want based on
a parameter.

If you are using CR9 you can use a SQL Command with a parameter that will
pass the ASC or DESC to the order by clause. In the report, you specifiy
sort order as Original Order.
