.txt Files Used Directly In CR 8.5? - Repost

I thought I'd try reposting this to see if I can get an answer.

I have an old DOS program that exports .txt files.  They are delimited text
files.  Right now the .txt files are being imported into dBase (.dbf) files
then the dBase files are used in Crystal Reports 8.5.

I've looked through the help files and can't seem to find any reference to
using .txt files.  Is it possible to use the delimited .txt files directly in
Crystal Reports rather than having to convert them to the .dbf file format
first?

If so, when I'm selecting the files, which options do I choose to correctly
select the data source?

Thx,
VH
