my Visual Basic app with Crystal Reports will not register CRViewer.dll

I'm not a expertise, but I suppose you can register it, use:

regsvr32 CRViewer.dll   in    START --> RUN

You should check the dependencies of CRViewer. we had the same problem, and
it turned out that ComCat.DLL, which is a Windows system DLL,  was not
registered.

See the CR-runtime requirements documentation for a list of dependent dll's.
