
A tip for Epson dot matrix printer users
Hi,
What happens here is the printer is using the printer resident fonts not the
True Type fonts. The difference is who Windows uses the fonts. The True Type
fonts are graphics fonts and Windows treats them as pictures so it has to draw
each character. The Printer Resident fonts are not handled as pictures and the
printer handles it.
