SQL Connectivity - CR9 Developer Edition, VB6, SQL Server 2000

Hi.  I'm a newbie to CR and VB and I'm desperately seeking some SIMPLE code
on viewing a report (using the viewer) based on a secure (not integrated
security) SQL server database.  Ideally, I'd like to add a buttons to a form
that when clicked will display a specific report in the viewer.

I looked at the sample that Crystal provides called "ADO Connection
Methods", but when I run it I get an error because I don't have the special
license that allows me to distribute reports that can change their design at
run-time.  Isn't that silly of Crystal to distribute a sample that most
people won't be able to run?
