 i get error when i set up ODBC data source (access) with crystal

 i get error when i set up ODBC data source (access) with crystal

i go into the ODBC configuration and set up a data source called CDATA.  i
use the Access driver and point it to my data.  using Crystal Reports 7 pro,
it runs ok on ALL records.  when i try to modify the selection formula
(basically adding a WHERE clause to my sql) i get an unknown error back from
the Access driver.  is there something else i have to do to get it to work?
