I tried to use Windows Installer for the first time because I was getting
problems with  Package and Deloyment Wizard.

I manage to make an msi file of my VB6 app that is using several OCXs, DLLs,
etc.

The problem is that all worked except the reports (CR8.5). I'm getting
"physical database not found" when previewing with CRViewer. I'm using OLEDB
o connect to the SQL Server 2000 Database.

I think all the DLL's required are installed (according with Runtime.hlp),
but somthink is missing for sure.

    I am having the same problem as you, but I have found what I think may
be my solution.  However, since I don't know what your development
environment is, nor what the rest of your situation is, here is the place I
found my answer:

    http://support.crystaldecisions.com/library/kbase.asp

    Type in "Physical Database Not Found" in the search box and you should
get a nice list back with a bunch of possibilities.  Hopefully, one of them
will fit for you.
