How to suppress group header when page header is the same

Greetings
I am using Crystal Reports V 7.0
SITUATION: If I put a group name (such as CUSTOMER) in the group heading it
displays every time the value changes, but if the group carries accross several
pages, it does not display on each page of my report.
So then, if I put this same field (CUSTOMER) in a page header it displays on the
top of every page. Nice. The problem is, that if the group value changes (new
customer name) and it is a new page at the same time, then I have the customers
name displayed twice. 1st as the page header and then as the group header.

QUESTION: How can I display a group heading value at the top of every page in
addition to displaying it when the value for the group changes?

Thanks much
Jeff

Not sure about 7, but in 8+ you can set a group level option
"Repeat Group Header on Each Page" which would solve your problem w/out
needing to put the group name in the page header.

I dont see that option on any menu or in the "Format section" menu. Could you
please tell me where it is in version 8? Just in case it is here and I am
missing it.

Thanks again
Jeff

How to suppress group header when page header is the same
It's there on both V7 and V8.x

Right click on the group margin, select Change Group. Then check the Repeat
group header on each new page checkbox.
