Need Idea for Crystal Reports over a large company WAN

Using the Crystal Web Server has a limitation on users. Our system crashes
when a couple of dozen users try to retrieve reports at roughly the same
time. Our company has expanded to several regions recently, not making my
report situation much better. Seagate Analysis or the Report designer is not
practical over a WAN.

Today, we hoped that converting the reports to ASP pages using Recrystallize
would be the answer, but after a stress test using 10 users hitting the
pages, we were getting CRPE.dll errors across the board. It is our belief
that the Crystal engine gets knocked around the same way the web server had.

I like the Recrystallize conversion and I'm not ready to abandon it. Has
anyone using the program experienced the same thing?

If anything, I have a company that doesn't seem ready to leave their Crystal
just yet. What can I do to get a large amount of users to my reports. Any
comment is useful, even the flames might cheer me up.

TIA
MicSla

Have you tried Crystal Info. The thing is designed to run reports on the
Crystal Info Server.
