There is a windows hot key that will copy the current window to the
clipboard.

I tried Shift- PrintScreen, Ctrl-PrintScreen, and ALT-PrintScreen and one
of them copied the current window into the clipboard where I could paste it
into Word. So one of them is it. The problem is that you get everything and
cannot edit it.  

For my own use I use the program HiJack which lets me have some control
over the croping, sizing, etc.
