can you use an access qry with CR?

: Is it possible to use an Access qry as the datasource for a CR : report?
: If so, how?
: Thanks,
: Barry

The simple answer is yes.  I just started using Crystal myself yesterday.  I
had a little trouble figuring it out - had to click around a little bit.
Click on the database grid.  The linked tables are in the left pane.  The
queries appear on the right.  You will find the one you want and click on it.
P.S. - do not use the function "NZ" in your query or it will not work in CR.

The above wasn't a great explanation but what can I say, I'm new.

When you define your report, choose the style then the data source.  The
data source should be your .mdb.  If you're using version 6.0, it will
allow you to choose your table or query.  If you're using an earlier
version, it will automatically bring in all of the .mdb's tables and
queries for you to use.  (You can always remove tables/queries that aren't
being used by going to Database:Remove database from report.)
