 Adding Columns

I came across _another_ distressing Crystal "function" that I don't
understand. I needed to add a column to a table. OK. Did that. Now, CR
would not "see" that new column. Refresh did not work. I had to remove
the table and all the relations, and all the fields disappeared from
the report! At this point, I just started over. Any work around for
this "feature"? Using 5.0 professional with SQL 6.0.
I tried this on a FoxPro .dbf file, and it did the same thing.
TIA.

You need to "Verify Database" in the Database menu.  Refresh is only for
data.
