Hello !

I'm looking for a reporting tool other than Crystal Reports or Active
reports. But it should be one that would have the same features.
And it must have an independent environment, so that one can make a report
using only and directly that tool.

Can anyone help me ?

MS-Access gives you some functionality but why are you looking for a
substitute to CR?

I leaved Crystal, too - and switched over to List & Label. I'm pleased with
it! It's faster, easier to use and now I can pass the designer-component on
to the end-user without any additional licence fees!

The new version List & Label 8.0 offers PDF-Export, XML-Export,
MHTML-Export, Charting, HTML Object, a new formula wizard with
auto-completion.... and a Crystal Reports Migration Tool (simplifies
transferring existing Crystal Reports to the List & Label format).
