I have created a report that displays images contained in an OLE field
stored into an Access database.

If the type of the OLE object is "embedded" (i.e. the images are stored into
the database) the images are displayed.

If the type of the OLE object is "linked" (i.e. the images are stored
outside the database) the images are NOT displayed.

I'd like to know if someone knows the reason for this, if there is a
workaround, etc.

Linked OLE fields will not work in Crystal.  It will not go out and
connect to the link.  It will only work with embedded objects.
