CR7 formatting table layout using SQL data

How can I arrange my data (details) in my report to appear
in Tabular format rather than one under another

i.e.

ID| Name    |Phone|   ID| Name    |Phone|
2 | J. Smith|01234|   3 | H. Holme|09876|

ID| Name    |Phone|   ID| Name    |Phone|
4 | a. other|07665|   5 | e. more |09992|

NB I use SQL2000 stored procedures to provide the field
data.

Thanks,
Gerry

Yes,
Just put the column header in detail section.

Hi Tony,

Placing the column headers into the details
section gives me repeated data :

 ID| Name    |Phone|   ID| Name    |Phone|
 2 | J. Smith|01234|   2 | J. Smith|01234|

 ID| Name    |Phone|   ID| Name    |Phone|
 3 | H. Holme|09876|   3 | H. Holme|09876|

???

Place 6 (formula) fields side by side in the detail section and print every
second record.

{db.id}, {db.Name}, {db.Phone}, Next({db.id}), Next({db.Name}),
Next({db.Phone})

Hi Gerry,
Sorry for that, I've misundertood your email.
What you have to do is after you put column names and fields in detail
section, go to format section for detail section. Put a tick in Format with
Multiple Columns (the last option). Layout tab will appear after the Common
and Color tab. From this tab you can change the settings to make the layout
looks like what you want. It's pretty much like creating mailing labels.

Hope this help,
Tony
