I have a counter in my web page, which gives the IP address of the visitor.
is there any API available to find what is the host name of the visitor's
network or
any other usefull info with the available IP address??

There is an API called gethostbyaddr

Don't ask me how to use it and you can't call APIs direct from VBScript in
ASP.
