Hello All,
I need to use the WebBrowser control for an application written in VB4
16bit. I can not upgrade this system to 32Bit due to time and money. I am
needing to send and recieve information via HTTP protocols. I have download
IE3, IE4, and IE5 for Windows 3.1. In each version I get the same problem.
I can add the control to a form, but I get a message saying "Object server
not correctly registered". It does not kill me, but I am unable to save any
form with that object, nor can I run the application with that control on
it. I have search all over the net for an answer to this problem, but I
have found nothing.
I understand that I'm trying to use todays stuff with stone age tools,
but at this point it would be too much to try to convert the application
into 32 bit. If anyone would be so kind as to point me in the correct
direction. I don't have to use the WebBrowser control, I just need to pass
information to an HTTPS address then recieve a responce back from the
server.
Thanks in advance
