 Macro substitution or work arround

Hello All!

The following is making the question:

      If ActiveControl.Name = "txt_Omschrijving" Then
        obj_ArtikelStam.Omschrijving = ActiveControl.Text
        If Not Fout Then
          ActiveControl.Text = obj_ArtikelStam.Omschrijving
        End If
      End If

I want to use the string in ActiveControl.Name (minus "txt_") to link
to obj_ArtikelStam

In Foxpro it works like this:

    obj_ArtikelStam.&(Mid$(ActiveControl.Name, 5, Len(ActiveControl.Name)))

The & operator is the macro substitutor.

Can i do that in VB or is there a work arround in combination with classes?

Thanks in adv...

Greetings, Marco

Depending on the exact needs of your particular application, either the
CallByName statement (available in VB6) or the Scripting Control (available
with VB6, downloadable for VB5) would probably work for you.
