 data entry form question

what is the best control (or group of controls) to best facilitate the
input of accounting data.  for instance, account code , amount,
quantity, etc need to be entered in each row and there needs to be 6 or
7 rows of information that will be used to update the data base. the
number of rows will probably be fixed (although this is not a must), the
number of columns will be fixed and all columns need to be visible to
the user.  also, the user needs to be able to tab through the data entry
area.  the best example might be something like an excel spreadsheet.  i
guess i could put a bunch of text boxes together in a grid format, but
there must be a better way.  i am using vb4.0 (16 bit).  any suggestions
will be appreciated.
