 Populating Listview control with recordset

Is there a quick way to populate a ListView control with a recordset object
without looping through the recordset?

For example, when using a MSFlexGrid control, you can populate the grid
without itemizing through the recordset using the Clip property:

grdAOPD.Clip = adoRstAOPDMaster.GetString(adClipString)

Sorry.. seems like there should be but no luck.. There are several examples
you can go by if you want to save some work though..

Here's a simple example (also uses a TreeView)
Linking a TreeView to a Database

Here's a pretty cool example.
ListView In Control: Part1
http://www.vbcity.com/pubs/article.asp?alias=listin_control

says "A Quick And Easy way to pass a Recordsetto the ListView Control. Nice
interface and behind the scenes actions for formatting any item in ListView:
Bold/Italic/Regular Font Formatting for items; Color Formatting; Icons in
items on conditional formatting "

 Populating Listview control with recordset

Hello,

My name is Jian-Wei Yu. Thank you for using the Microsoft VB Newsgroups.

To use the ListView control, you must populate the control
programmatically. For more detailed information, please refer to:

Hope it helps. If you have any questions, please reply to this post.

Best Regards,

Jian-Wei Yu
