Alt-Shortcut key with Toolbar?

 Alt-Shortcut key with Toolbar?

I can use the '&' symbol with labels of buttons on a
Toolbar control to specify a shortcut key used with the
Alt key. But I can find no way to make this work. No
matter what, shortcut keys never seem to work with buttons
on a toolbar.

Is this possible? It seems like it should be since using
the '&' symbol makes a line appear below the letter I want
the shortcut key to be.

I can find no Microsoft article on this as well, which is
suprising to me. It seems a rather obvious candidate.

if your toolbar duplicates menu items you can use the shortcut key from
toolbar to click the menu item
