PrintDialog object's PrintRange property always returns pdSelection???

I've been switching over from using the CommonDialog control to using the
family of classes provided by dlgobjs.dll. The ChooseFile object works just
great, but I'm having a problem with the

PrintDialog object. No matter how I set (or don't set) the
DisablePageNumbers and DisableSelection  properties the PrintRange property
always returns pdSelection. The selection radio button is enabled and it
matters not whether it is clicked or not, the result is always as though it
was clicked by the user. How can I tell if the button is actually being
clicked?
