{*filter*}sign Team is e{*filter*}d to announce the introduction of '{*filter*}sign
Visual SNMP AgentBuilder for VB'. This is the latest addition to the
{*filter*}sign suite of products that greatly reduce the time and effort in
developing SNMP agents or SNMP management applications. Please

describes how {*filter*}sign products fit in the design/development life
cycle.

{*filter*}sign Visual SNMP AgentBuilder for VB will create a fully
functional SNMP Agent in Visual Basic. This Visual Studio Add-in will
import a user defined MIB and create an SNMP agent with the click of a
button. VB modules are created with the source to access and retrieve
SNMP objects. User defined default values are incorporated and the
project is ready to be 'run'. The source code can be modified to
incorporate additional agent functionality.

The agent created from this product can be used as a fully functional
agent or a test/demo tool for SNMP management applications. Developers
of management applications often wait for work on an SNMP agent to be
finished before they can test their application. With this product the
development can take place in parallel without waiting for the agent
to be completed. This product can also be used for demo purposes. An
agent can be created and run to demonstrate the functionality of the
product without actually taking the product with you.
