Event not raised from a SubWindowProc of an ActiveX-EXE

I have an ActiveX-EXE that has its own form with a user-defined
SubWindowProc to receive Messages sent by SendMessage.
In case of a registered message the object should raise an event in the
client-process. The form is referencing the object and
calls a friend method that will raise the event.

My problem is, that the event is never raised.

If the component is compiled as ActiveX-DLL and referenced by the client as
in-process-server, the event is raised as expected.

If the method to raise the event is called e.g. by a button_click on the
server-form, the event is also raised. That happens also, if the
component is compiled as ActiveX-EXE.

My question is how is it possible to raise events from an
out-process-server which are based on a user-defined SubWindowProc?

Thanks for more information...
