Very slow printing of VB and Access reports under Win NT

I have a report in a VB3 project that when run under Windows NT 4.0 prints
extremely slowly compared to how it used to print under Windows for
Workgroups.

The report is a 26x40 grid on each of 20+ pages, and was created using a
Farpoint Spread VBX Control (v.2.1). It is unbound and draws its data from
SQL Server through code that fills in each cell with a value.

When run under WFW, the report will print all of the pages continuously.
Under NT, the report will print the first page, but then it'll pause after
EVERY page. There is about a 15 second pause betwen pages. It's like every
page is a separate job.

Interestingly we created an identical report using MS Access 2.0 and the
behaviour is almost identical, perhaps 1 second per page faster. Also, if
the cell borders in the Access report are turned off then the pages print
continuously under NT.

Does anyone know how to get this to print continuously under NT without
removing cell borders?

Thanks
Laurence
