 Consts global (in Com and ASP)

Hi,

I want to do the following:

put data in a recordset (coded) with the fieldnames as constants where I
want to use those same constants in ASP to retrieve the values.

Is this possible and how?

Marco,

I see two choices.

1. Not field names, but field ordinal positions as Enum:
Public Enum Fields
  IDField
  NameField
End Enum

2. Class with instancing property set to GlobalMultiUse and code like this:

Public Property Get IDField As String
  IDField = "ID"
End Property

Public PRoperty Get NameField As String
  NameField = "Name"
End Property
