VB 5.0 and SQL Server 7.0

When trying to run a VB 5.0 application on a SQL 7.0 database I get "*.exe
has generated errors and will be closed".

My application runs fine in a VB 6.0 environment or on a SQL 6.5 database.
I have traced it to a call involving:

  DB.TableDefs(TableName).Fields

such as .Refresh or .Count.

Why is this?  How can I get around this?

Can anyone help me please?
Thank you in advance.
