 winsock+Win98/ME = Error 126

Hi,

A program contains like this:
Winsock1.protocol=1 (UDP)
Winsock1.remotehost = "192.168.0.255" (Or any dot notation IP address)
Winsock1.remoteport = 4141
Winsock1.SendData "V" >>> Generates Error 126, only on SE
.....
Works on win95 and win98 first edition
But not works on win98 SE
( a complete example program code found at
http://www.*-*-*.com/ )
I have sp5.

This is a bug?
Else, what is wrong?

Regards.

Note:
a$="V"
Winsock1.SendData a$
works only design time. After compiled, not work.
