Can you please give us a little bit more information in what you are
trying to accomplish so I don't steer you down a useless path?

Have you tried converting your text into a BLOB which in a sense is
suited for rendering an image back out.

What type of text are you seeking to convert?
Any language conversions, or perhaps special characters needing to be
dealt with?

Just a thought,
will look back in a while to see what you have written to try and help
you out some more.
