 Please help

I am using drop down menus (DHTML) in a site that I am building.  I have an
'include file' that servest he menu on the home page.  However, the html
links on the page are not visible unless the user moves the mouse over the
link.  The code below will hopefully explain.    I have included two asp
pages below (menu.asp, index.asp). I would appreciate any help in 'turning
off' this functionality once the dropdown menu code is complete.  Thanks in
advance

Menu.asp

table{font-size:80%;background:black}

a{color:white;text-decoration:none;font:bold}

a:hover{color:#FF0000}

td.menu{background:#0033CC}

table.menu
{
font-size:100%;
position:absolute;
visibility:hidden;

}

</style>
<script type="text/JavaScript">
function showmen(elmnt)
{
document.all(elmnt).style.visibility="visible"

}

function hidemenu(elmnt)
{
document.all(elmnt).style.visibility="hidden"

</script>
</head>
