right syntax: navigate apppath & "myDoc.htm"

Hallo everybody!
I am using a navigate method to show a html-doc in my aplication path.
Now I have
some  syntax problems.
Well I do not know how to transform the method   IE.navigate
"C:\aaa\myDoc.htm" .
This doesn't work:  ie.navigate apppath & "myDoc.htm"
What is the right syntax??
Thank you very much in advance!
