How get infomation of the MMC by script

The current GPO tools from MS are not scriptable (no COM or command line
interface)
But the upcoming new Group Policy Management Console from MS is scriptable, it
will have a COM interface :-)

The Group Policy Management Console (GPMC) provides the new framework for
managing Group Policy. With GPMC, Group Policy becomes much easier to use. For
example, GPMC enables backup and restore of Group Policy objects (GPOs),
import/export and copy/paste of GPOs, reporting of GPO settings, and
scriptibility (COM interface) for all GPMC operations. In addition, the GPMC
incorporates all Resultant Set of Policy (RSoP) functionality (both logging and
planning mode) and provides reporting capabilities for RSoP data.
Note: Must be run from Windows XP or .Net server, but the GPO's created will
work for Windows 2000 as well.
