 Version 5.0 beta 1 Engines download available!

I've received a ton of requests for the V5 engines without having to
download IE5.

We aim to please in the Script Technologies group so there is a self
extracting .exe with the V5 engines (VBScript, JScript, Scrrun and
scrobj.dll) on the scripting site http://www.*-*-*.com/

**Note**

These are beta versions of the engines and the license agreement that comes
with the download does *not* allow for the redistribution of the V5 Beta
engines.  This is so that we don't get rogue versions of the script engines
out there.  So if you want to ship script engines with your application then
you should get the V3.1 engines from the script site.

This is the first time we've posted standalone beta engines so please
conform with the license so we can continue to give you access to the latest
updates.

Enjoy.

Thanks Andrew, I've just got it!
We accept the license.

One issue regarding V5: debugging support for IE (I have IE4.01sp1 and Script
De{*filter*} for IE 4.01) behaves oddly.
Try this tiny html:

<html>
<script>
foo.bar = 0
</script>
</html>

I get the following:

A Runtime Error has occured.
Do you wish to Debug?
Line: 2
Error: 'foo' is undefined
[Yes] [No]

When I hit [No], I get the same dialog again and again... The only way to get
rid of it is to select [Yes] :)

Regards,
Andrew.

This is a bug with the script de{*filter*}.  We are revving the debug components
with Beta 2 of V5 engines.

Thanks for spotting this
