Code query - Unable to save images???
Hi,

I have visited several Java driven websites which have images but you are
unable to right-click on the image and save the image to your local drive.
Usually, a pop-up appears with a warning saying you do not have permission
to right-click or save, etc.

Apologies if this is a bit dummies but is it possible to do the same in
VB.Net and/or C#?

Thanks,

Jan.

If I understand completely, you're talking about Javascript
functionality.  A Javascript function takes over the right-click
function and pops up the menu (so you can't right-click *anywhere* on
the page, which can be annoying).  Turn off Javascript and you can
right-click as much as you want.  Additionally, you can simply look at
the source for the page for the <img...> tags and manually download
the images.

That is irrelevant to C# or .Net--and to Java for that matter.
(Javascript is a poorly named technology that Netscape developed,
which has nothing to do with Java.)

Nope, perhaps I didn't make myself clear - I wish to do this, i.e. stop
people saving images from a website, and wonder whether there is a line of
code or two in either VB.NET or C# which will allow this?

Are you talking about ASP.NET?

Um, yes. I assumed that this would be a simply line of code commonly used?
