Is there an "easy" way for me to play media files (WAV, AVI etc) in .Net?

I know i can make user interop to use some older technology, but i would
like to stick to the framework namespaces. would the only way to go about
this is to use the wrapper or way for dx9???

thanks

Vinny

Hi Vinny,

Easiest way is to use a Windows Media Player via Interop. I've got some web
samples that show this, video with WMP, Flash, etc. at www.vbtrain.net.
There will be downloadable Windows Forms sample with my book about using VB
.NET for training (coming in a couple of months). Now when we get a WMP that
is native to .NET, it will really be cool.

Hope this helps.
